Lundy island which, in 1986, was made a statutory marine nature reserve lies at the mouth of the Bristol Channel where the cool, clear, oceanic waters from the Gulf Stream mix with the clear, but warmer, waters from the Caribbean.
We have chartered a spacious boat with room for 12 divers to kit up at once, with ample space to store all the diving gear. The 20 mile passage to the Island takes about 1 hour, so sit back and watch out for the dolphins, porpoises and seals.

We have chartered a spacious boat with room for 12 divers to kit up at once, with ample space to store all the diving gear. There is a side gate on the boat for easy entry and a lift or ladder, making re-boarding hassle-free. We have a safety boat/stand by vessel in case of an emergency.

There are over 40 dive sites around the island with a mix of wrecks, reefs, drop offs, and pinnacles. You can also dive with the seals which are extremely friendly. If you wish, you can take part in a night dive to view the sea-life after dark.
Safety - The weather around Lundy can change quickly, so all divers should be appropriately trained, qualified, and experienced. You must carry an SMB.

The health & safety of our customers is of paramount importance to us. To this end, all crew are professional, fully trained and skilled. If you need help or advice, they will be only too happy to help and offer advice.

Accommodation on the island is very sparce and we have been fortunate enough to reserve Bramble Villas, which are situated in the St John's Valley, on the site of a ruinous corrugated iron building of the same name, and the same rather colonial appearance. It was shipped, ready-made, from the mainland, and put up to house those who were to carry out the restoration work on Lundy. Now divided in two, East looks over the sea towards Devon and has the light off the sea in its rooms. West also has a glimpse of the sea.

Fantastic Shore Dive!

Finally the warmer weather has arrived with some good weather gave us the opportunity to head down to Selsey life boat station this morning. Arriving at 6:30am we got into our dry suits and headed down to the pier to find the sea lovely and calm making an easy entry. We decided down to 5 meters and followed the pier to the end with visibility around 2-3 meters, along the way seeing an array of marine life, after surfacing 40 minutes later having a great dive.

So why not come on one of our UK trips planned this summer? Click here for more details.

Basking Shark Safari

A varied and adventurous trip to one of the best locations for UK diving. The Drawna Rock, easily accessed from the beach at Portkherris is arguably the best shore dive in the UK. Combined with Basking sharks and a variety of wrecks this is going to be one excellent diving experience.
